Yes. It is safe. The energy does not reach your ear or body. AirFit uses a low-energy design that only transfers a small amount of power when charging from a phone or AirPods case, and it stops automatically once charging is complete. The system is designed to protect the AirPod battery from overcharging or long-term stress, so it does not continue delivering power when the battery is already full. It is built to charge only from a phone or compatible AirPods case, not from a regular wall charger, and it will not work with a standard charger.
